This update follows the last one given to alumni in October 2024. Since then, two awards have been made.
The 2025 Bentley Research bursary, in climate-resistant food systems, was awarded to Sofia Jomo (left), a food, nutrition and dietetics masters graduate of Kenyatta University.
The Hopper-Bhatia and IDRC research award was granted to Mercy Muthuuri (right) enroled in the University of British Columbia’s masters program in public policy and global affairs.
